MADISON COUNTY FARMERS MARKET - Every Saturday, 8am until 1pm
Market location: Dormitory Drive parking lots near Pittman Dining Hall on the campus of Mars Hill College. We offer locally produced vegetables, fruits and plants as well as honey, jams, pickles, licensed goat cheese and six bakers who make bread, cakes, cookies and pies. All our food producers have the required inspections and licensing. We have the finest variety of crafts including hand made cabin brooms, blown glass, jewelry, quilts, hand spun yarns and knitted items and woodworking. It's a festival atmosphere with live music and food hot off the grill. Come shop for all of your fresh produce, baked goods and jams, visit with your neighbors, listen to a little down home music and have lunch at the market.

Second annual Breakaway Fall Art Festival and "Rocking Chair Affair"
Village Center, Breakaway Village, Wolf Ridge.  See art exhibits, live music, a charity auction, entertainment, food and fun for the whole family to enjoy.  Also on display will be a collection of Adirondack Rocking Chairs that have been decorated in various creative styles by local artisans.
